The world is busy spending its energies on rooting for their home teams, we at CCNJ also realize the value of the Olympics in a different manner. While everyone says that the goal is to win, or in business terms, to close out the competition, very often we find ourselves in a position that we must work with those same people that we otherwise would rather pounce. As a trusted advisor of our company likes to say, there is never any competition – only opportunities, we are taking this moment to publicly call for others to realize the same and work together.
In Credit Cards, NJ’s history, there have been many times where we have traded accounts with other providers – sometimes we just weren’t able to take an account or didn’t have the experience level necessary to land such a lofty account. Other times, we got those same types of accounts from our partners and have been working steadily at increasing our own channel of partners. But there are also times that we take the business for ourself since at the end of the day, all businesses need to do exactly that – we can’t always be sharing, but the idea of the Olympics that I’d like to ask everyone to think about is this – the goal of the Olympics is to be chosen to compete. It’s not whether you win gold or not, it’s that you were given the opportunity to represent your country in the most visible way, athletically speaking.
